Re: Hey Rendall
Fri, January 11, 2008 - 7:26 AMSo far, so good. I look and feel better than ever, and have more friends and more things to do than just about any time in my life. Life's good.
On NYE, 40 of us hired a party bus and travelled to 5 different parties around the city. I got drunk on bootleg absinthe and kissed a girl or two. s209.photobucket.com/albums/...y%20Bus/ I seem to remember more pictures being taken of me than just the one that shows up there, but since I'm notoriously anti-photogenic, he might have tossed all of mine while shuddering in horror. One of the parties got shut down by the police about 10 minutes before midnight, and I got called "creepy" by a girl I'm quite sure I'd had no interaction with before that moment (NOT someone from our bus, I should add, all of whom were a pretty randy crowd). All in all a fun night.

Fri, January 11, 2008 - 7:32 PMwow looks like a balst! like BurningMan on wheels... in a good way.
It really only takes one moment to be creepy...were you? not that there's anything wrong with that, it's like that Being John Malcovich subconsciousness clip. I'd take it as a compliment unless you were fondling a human ear in your pocket at the time then maybe get some help.
great idea about the bus!

No. I'm certain I wasn't creepy at all. I sat down next to some girl, but honestly hadn't even noticed her until she pointed at me and said "This guy is creepy!"
I'll tell the full entertaining story of what happened next another day. Right now I'm trying to call my phone company. Someone stole my expensive-assed phone. Gah, I knew that was going to happen. -

Re: Hey Rendall
Sun, January 13, 2008 - 4:07 PMthere is a guy several of my female friends think is creepy but he doesn't know we all know and he's popular in our social circles - i call him a good friend myself but i just know he's lecherous in inappropriate circumstances (i.e. with his close friends' girlfriends). sometimes, girls talk. then he hits on some new girl and he doesn't even know that these girls know each other and she thinks he's creepy from the get-go.
should i tell you it's not like that? likely not in your case, rendall, she could be a nutjob or just drunk at the time, but this does happen. it's a small world. and karma's a bitch. -

See the problem? A girl calls a guy "creepy" and he by fiat, though not by deed, and then everything he says is seen in that light. It's like being called "crazy".
In real life, I could actually use a bit more creep in my rep. And as Suzie Bright says, a guy is only "creepy" when a girl isn't attracted to him. Otherwise he's "sexy".
No, these were a group of underaged college sophomores from out of town who had wandered into our little underground burner party and were in way over their humorless and frightened little heads. They were cowering in a corner when I, drunk on absinthe and no doubt buttoning up my pants after emerging from Spatch's massage parlor, staggered into their safe little nest just looking for somewhere dark to be alone. Their choice was either to scatter like pigeons or attack in the only way they knew how.
But believe what you want. It doesn't really matter. Creepy, not creepy. Whatever works for you. -
